no, i didn't stay long at all! we'd had kind of a long day, after looking at all the art and having a beer we bailed and watched snl.

hey guys, any suggestions for mpls venues that i could look into for booking my solo project (chants)? instrumental beat-oriented stuff, sampler & drums. my best shows have been for rock/indie/hipsterish audiences as opposed to dance clubs. i've only played there with the brass band, so i don't have many connections in other scenes.

speaking of which, i'm playing at the nomad on the 15th with mama digd0wn's brass band. as always, we'll be cooking food and serving it free at set break.

I'd recommend checking out the shows page on the modern radio board - apparently Brute Heart are playing on the 5th w/a bunch of other all-lady bands, they're rad.
