I'll defer to other metaller-heads-than-I but yeah I would think that if you're buying new Megadeth records in this day and age you (correctly imho) gave up on Metallica a long time ago

Apparently I was the one who broke the news to Dave Mustaine that this is coming out the same day as the new Megadeth record.

Maybe 7 or 8 years ago, but given the resurgence in the Big 4 lately and the (relatively) favorable reviews Death Magnetic got, I can totally see lots of people picking up albums by the two of them on the same trip to the record store.
