Dunno really. The facebook post didn't really seem to make a big difference, though a few may have snuck in. Strongo still hasn't voted, and a couple other regs in this thread haven't either. I don't mind last-minute ballots. I'm only doing worsts and albums on Monday, so I can add in actual tracks votes over the day on Monday at a leisurely pace.

I couldn't do worst. I mean there are probably 150 sings that qualify, but I can't be bothered to seek them out.

For me "most hated" does not equal "worst" at all -- just that I am either tired of or generally not fond of those songs. Not the same! I would never have voted for "worst".

oh, I placed just the next track ("Dog's Out" is next, right?) on my pre-elimination ballot, tho it got pushed out of the top 20

"3 year old man" (which is kind of forgettable) is next, then "dog's out"

Just sent my ballot. Was really busy this week so I didn't get to delve in as much as I'd hoped to, but my favorites remain pretty consistent with these guys. Can't wait to see results!

Got 52 ballots in the end. I'll be doing the top 10 albums/releases tomorrow and starting the tracks countdown on Tuesday.

The "most hated/least favorite" tracks thing kind of fell apart, because there's no discernible consensus on what those tracks might be. Worked great for Zeppelin, but not so much here.

I know that I've taken a lot of heat on ILX lately because of my stance on a particular issue
and I know that my picks are almost all Bee1000 and Alien Lanes - which probably seems appalling to a hxc GBV fan

I don't know about your stance on a particular issue (?), but I really truly closed the voting at midnight so I could work on the actual behind-the-scenes stuff involved in rolling out a countdown and still maybe get a little sleep tonight before work tomorrow. If I went back in and added a couple ballots now (sorry Mr. Shasta), I'd have to stay up later and be sleepier at work. So yeah, voting closed at midnight edt.
