i don't understand some of the stuff on kickstarter that has like $10,000+ in funding. i thought people were poor now.

the whole IDEA of kickstarter is that you can raise that kind of money from a large number of people who might only be able to individually contribute in the single or double digits, dude

I want all my favorite bands to go on Bandcamp. I like that Relapse has all their bands on Bandcamp. However, their $10 price point is too high. I can hold out and often get the CD for that much or less used or at a show. I think a good model would be $5 to $7 for established bands, and choose yr price for new bands seeking an audience. I think I've convinced a couple bands to get on the Bandcamp wagon. 2 down, thousands to go.

Yeah, I only put two and two together when I read it as well -- which given his role's mentioned earlier on the thread shows how much I pay attention sometimes!
