I can open balloting any time. I will probably put a pretty long lead on it because I want no less than 200 ballots.

I'm going to be sort of a literalist about this - if they are listed as "producer" in the credits of released material, then they are admissable. otherwise no. what constitutes "production" varies so widely throughout music history, I can't think of any other way to approach this that will ensure any kind of uniformity.

Looking at the schedule for the last three the artists is kinda lol esp. PJ Harvey - Nasty, Brutish & Short.

I've started my Stevie Wonder listening for #9 -- esp interested in pre-Talking Book deep cuts. (Listening to his instrumental debut album now.)

Yeah, I thought I'd do that too, since I had turned in my GBV ballot yesterday afternoon. But I started with Journey Through the Secret Life of Plants...

GIS should make producer pics pretty easy. Is there going to be a nominations/"hey don't forget this one" period for that poll before balloting?

Sorry, didn't know what the standard is. I'm fine if a mod wants to cut it down to just 2 weeks.

Most of the voting periods have been 7-10 days, but I'm loath to set any hard and fast rules on these. I'm just keeping the list.
