Well that was what I was getting at, it seems now so much more common now to have these fully leaked tracklists that let you know anyone with even half a bar (slightly exagerrating here) on the track. Its like, look at all these names! You want to buy this!

it would've been funny if 50% of the back cover of the last Kanye album was just listing the "All of the Lights" guests

lil dawg (some dude), Wednesday, 31 August 2011 14:42 (fourteen years ago)

i really want to make a list of every shitty zen koan on this album

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 31 August 2011 18:26 (fourteen years ago)

i don't think i'll be able to stomach listening to the whole album so if you want to take my idea and run with it be my guest!

lil dawg (some dude), Wednesday, 31 August 2011 18:30 (fourteen years ago)

weezykoans.tumblr.com is unclaimed

BIG HOOS aka the steendriver, Wednesday, 31 August 2011 18:33 (fourteen years ago)

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 31 August 2011 18:33 (fourteen years ago)

markers, Wednesday, 31 August 2011 18:35 (fourteen years ago)

Lol @ "It's Good". Tunechi is all, "oh yeah Kanye? King Crimson? Here's Alan Parsons Project. First album. Who's the prog pro now bitch?"

jon /via/ chi 2.0, Wednesday, 31 August 2011 22:19 (fourteen years ago)

I mean, even 'Megaman' has the punchlines "Have it your way... BURGER KING"

at long last, Weezy has become Wesley Willis

I can feel it in my spiritual hat (Shakey Mo Collier), Wednesday, 31 August 2011 22:22 (fourteen years ago)

I must say laughed my ass off at this "How to Love" video last night

don't pay attention to wayne these days but damn he went hard on 6 foot 7 foot

Whiney G. Blutfarten (dayo), Tuesday, 20 September 2011 00:55 (fourteen years ago)

yeah i can't wait for the next single to drop, i think he might actually have a good album left in him

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 20 September 2011 00:56 (fourteen years ago)

are there any good blends of the vox over another beat? i like the verses but that vocal sample is just mixed so high that the whole thing is kind of irritating imo

some dude, Tuesday, 20 September 2011 00:57 (fourteen years ago)

i don't even HEAR an obvious next single on C4 aside from the songs that have been already released. maybe that horrible Bruno Mars bonus track.

some dude, Tuesday, 20 September 2011 00:58 (fourteen years ago)

yeah the mix of 6 foot 7 foot is really terrible, so trebley and no low end

Whiney G. Blutfarten (dayo), Tuesday, 20 September 2011 00:58 (fourteen years ago)

also lol @ the dylanification of his voice from all the weedsmoke

Whiney G. Blutfarten (dayo), Tuesday, 20 September 2011 00:59 (fourteen years ago)

"I got through that sentence like a subject and a predicate"

??? snoopshake

Whiney G. Blutfarten (dayo), Tuesday, 20 September 2011 01:04 (fourteen years ago)

ohh shit my shorty made me listen to dis joint last night she love it but daaamn not one hot track on it.

kyle2trill, Tuesday, 20 September 2011 13:36 (fourteen years ago)

not even luriqua lite

Whiney G. Blutfarten (dayo), Tuesday, 20 September 2011 13:45 (fourteen years ago)

at least get the cadence riht

Whiney G. Blutfarten (dayo), Tuesday, 20 September 2011 13:45 (fourteen years ago)

??? snoopshake

Not sure what this means, but I was wondering where I heard that "subject and predicate" line before.

jon /via/ chi 2.0, Tuesday, 20 September 2011 13:47 (fourteen years ago)

it means http://i287.photobucket.com/albums/ll146/dotcomgirlLSA/snoop.gif

some dude, Tuesday, 20 September 2011 13:49 (fourteen years ago)

but yeah kyle2trill is sad, just stop

some dude, Tuesday, 20 September 2011 13:53 (fourteen years ago)

one thing I hate about nu-ILX is people trying to replace classic gifs with flavor-of-the-day gifs from senorgif and 4gifs

think carefully about what your nu-gif offers over the classic before you use it, ppl

Whiney G. Blutfarten (dayo), Tuesday, 20 September 2011 13:54 (fourteen years ago)

lol I forgot about that gif

Funny thing is that when we were listening to IV in the car the other day my wife actually cited that "subject and predicate" line as one of the better ones on the album and so much better than the rest of his "lame puns".

jon /via/ chi 2.0, Tuesday, 20 September 2011 13:55 (fourteen years ago)

idgi though, almost every sentence is going to contain a subject and predicate. where's the pun

Whiney G. Blutfarten (dayo), Tuesday, 20 September 2011 13:57 (fourteen years ago)

well it's a pun because the "sentence" he got through was a prison sentence

some dude, Tuesday, 20 September 2011 13:59 (fourteen years ago)

possible additional wordplay on the term 'predicate felon' but that's prob giving him too much credit

some dude, Tuesday, 20 September 2011 14:01 (fourteen years ago)

oh haha. I thought he was still talking about elephants and gelatin

Whiney G. Blutfarten (dayo), Tuesday, 20 September 2011 14:02 (fourteen years ago)

t/f: that line would be improved if he said instead "I got through that sentence... PREDICATE"

Whiney G. Blutfarten (dayo), Tuesday, 20 September 2011 14:11 (fourteen years ago)

f

jon /via/ chi 2.0, Tuesday, 20 September 2011 14:12 (fourteen years ago)

that and the lasagna line are fine imo, although they're both examples of wayne getting into that nu-jay zone where his good lyrics work better on paper than on record

some dude, Tuesday, 20 September 2011 14:13 (fourteen years ago)

succ butter from my azz

kyle2trill, Tuesday, 20 September 2011 20:16 (fourteen years ago)

la goonies (k3vin k.), Saturday, 13 October 2012 01:00 (thirteen years ago)

hang on maybe it's a remix that's being played on the radio now because the youtube i'm listening to now sucks

la goonies (k3vin k.), Saturday, 13 October 2012 01:02 (thirteen years ago)

hm, maybe i'm thinking of a different song, lol

la goonies (k3vin k.), Saturday, 13 October 2012 01:05 (thirteen years ago)

la goonies (k3vin k.), Saturday, 13 October 2012 01:20 (thirteen years ago)

lil dirk (J0rdan S.), Saturday, 13 October 2012 01:20 (thirteen years ago)

I semi-like the interlude one with Tech N9ne & Dre Ben. Horrible album though.

Spottie_Ottie_Dope, Sunday, 14 October 2012 04:48 (thirteen years ago)

for real, not generally a big Tech N9ne fan but his verse on this album is one of the only good things about it. I sorta liked John when it dropped but already can't remember anything about it beyond it being an inferior remake of I'm Not a Star

no love spud webb (fadanuf4erybody), Sunday, 14 October 2012 04:51 (thirteen years ago)

rip kyle2trill

some dude, Sunday, 14 October 2012 11:22 (thirteen years ago)

did you all hear this cover of "how to love"?

http://soundcloud.com/vagrantrecords/sviib-howtolove

against the odds it's really amazing

lex pretend, Sunday, 14 October 2012 12:59 (thirteen years ago)

I liked "Blunt Blowin."

The first several songs on this album are actually pretty good, mixtape-caliber Wayne. But then the curious guests, high concepts and genre experiments come in and it's all over.

Evan R, Sunday, 14 October 2012 14:39 (thirteen years ago)

Kinda forget how much I liked "John," though. A perfect love letter to the idea of Rick Ross.

Evan R, Sunday, 14 October 2012 14:40 (thirteen years ago)

haha I completely forgot about "John"

Cap'n Hug-a-Thug (The Reverend), Sunday, 14 October 2012 18:54 (thirteen years ago)

I am still amused by the title
