i gotta say that this does feel like a ... way out for him. like, i was expecting to hate this more or it to sound more the-dream like but hes def reigned some of that in for the better

i like this, from a writing standpoint

i feel where deej is coming from -- also sounding less like the-dream is sorta the whole point of this project, like it or not

i think that song was anti-pop in all the wrong ways... the production was really wonky in a way that i'm sure he thought was profound & different but it was just kinda shitty -- this is a much more agreeable attempt at not making an overt pop song imo
