i need to rewatch it though, i haven't seen it in full since that historical day i saw it in the theater

oh yeah, it's cool -- it's just that i don't think i've ever seen a rock documentary where a band came across so terribly. they all seem deeply, deeply lame.

You may remember September 13th, New York was still on fire, we had been up non-stop watching CNN. Everywhere you went, people were freaking out over white powder, there were bomb threats everywhere, you were having all kinds of fuckin' radical military maneuvers and shit... it was a war.

a friend of mine sold a piano to Lars Ulrich, Lars kept telling him he wanted him to "knock it out of the park on this one" which just meant Lars wanted to buy the piano at even less than the store paid for it. Which happened, and Lars was still pissed.
