actually dan I thought we were pretty much on the same page—weren't you saying that Albini, though he was mistaken in writing it 'that way', had made an understandable mistake inasmuch as context would have led him to believe that odd future intended the more insulting/derogatory meaning? whereas my position is basically: I DON'T CARE, the context will always trump this kind of semantic bullshit and I don't think that it matters whether they pronounced the r or not when they were telling the bus driver to fuck off
