I was bracing myself to start hating Steve Albini as a result of this but, reading his rant, it seems like he was basically just saying "I was on a bus with them and they were tools" and every instance of the word "nigger" is reference to something they said (I also now get Rev's post, which wasn't as all in as I originally thought now that I have context).

he probably didn't but it's likely he did so to emphasize how many times they said it; I do a similar thing when I talk about my cousin who doesn't curse but will drop "nigga" at every conceivable opportunity

if you took to the internet in any fashion to complain about someone saying "fuck" a bunch of times in public, you'd really have to get over yourself -- steve albini probably should get over himself, but at least odd future are public figures

albini likes his misanthropy and grody behavior contained in 3-5 mins of recording that he does on $40k analog equipment
