I've heard this brought up several times at parties and such and it seems like there is one in particular that always seems to harrass the workers to the point that even people of that race hate being assigned to those shuttles

I was bracing myself to start hating Steve Albini as a result of this but, reading his rant, it seems like he was basically just saying "I was on a bus with them and they were tools" and every instance of the word "nigger" is reference to something they said (I also now get Rev's post, which wasn't as all in as I originally thought now that I have context).

also it is kind of funny that steve albini was offended by black ppl using the n-word

he probably didn't but it's likely he did so to emphasize how many times they said it; I do a similar thing when I talk about my cousin who doesn't curse but will drop "nigga" at every conceivable opportunity
