TBD- I have provided quite a bit, and the filmmaker is speaking with others and reviewing possibilies. The funniest thing I found was a video Walter Gibbons made for "Let's Go Swimming". It's all pause and paste, made on a VHS. Lots of water, fish and all things aquatic. Totally raw.

i bought springfield the day it came out, and i honestly haven't listened to much else since. i love it. hearing that 24-24 music might become available makes me really happy. shit, the movie too. if you build it, they will come.

Just happened to hear of that reissue by running a semi-regular Google search for it! So fucking cool.

"Song IV" from 'Zummo with an X' is fucking amazing, yet another astonishing side of Russell--a real fusion of a lot of his styles. I ordered the full album, which I've never heard--not sure if Arthur's on any other tracks, but it looks compelling regardless.

Quick note, difficult to choose esp cos the more I listen to it the more his whole CORPUS seems like cut from the same bigass cloth but "You Did the Right Thing When You Put that Skylight in" MIGHT just be my fav AR track now (latest in long line tho)

i disagree, the A side is an awful tangle of enervating post-Glass experiments, while the B side is ok for the breathy Russell and tabla workout, but it doesn't amount to much. i worked my ass off trying to find this record and it hit my sell pile pretty quickly.

I've found it hard to rekindle my interest in this man's music. World of Echo blew my mind when it came out and I became attached to a few tracks on that especially. Then later in college that posthumous album came out...Another Thought I think it was called. It was pleasant, but left no lasting marks. His forays into dance music haven't wowed me either. Yet I continue to feel as if I must have left something behind and need to do something about it.

listening to the 19 minute version of "Answers Me" which forms the sountrack to "Terrace of Unintelligibility" - the 19 minute film that Phil Niblock made that was on the DVD of the limited reissue of "World of Echo". so deep and dark - an unequivocal masterpiece. shall i upload? i think it's only exists on that DVD which is out of print.
