I agree that this song is kinda-catchy/not terrible. video is the same old nonsense, altho it does feature a few scenes where Mme. Pomplamoose is dancing in the background w/face obscured instead of mugging for the camera, which caused me to go "woah who's that gir— oh, right"

hearing the original there, it's pretty remarkable that for a band whose whole thing is being 'quirky' and 'nice', Pamplamoose really know how to suck any quirky niceness out of a song.

agreed. the persona is all etsy warm and fuzzy but the music and vocals sound as affectless and soul dead as, well, your typical millenial!

Hmm, this is somewhat of a dilemma. If I listen to them on Spotify, how will I know that what I'm hearing is actually the instruments that are being played by the pomplemoose? For all I know they might be lip syncing or using "hidden sounds." I'm just not sure that I can really trust them anymore without the VideoSongs to authenticate their work.

the roots dig those guys!

it makes a certain sense that after years of learning how to play other people's songs really well in concert and especially on Fallon, the Roots are really impressed by and generous toward youtube cover bands

She actually delivers that song quite well, which does not stop it from being pretty bad, but kudos.
