actually the beat immediately following that song is the album's heartbeat

bros -izing bros (k3vin k.), Tuesday, 12 July 2011 20:16 (fourteen years ago)

you may be right: right into "Hate You Now", but it's like one continuous & awesome song

Euler, Tuesday, 12 July 2011 20:16 (fourteen years ago)

you haven't heard that til now?!

dayo, Tuesday, 13 September 2011 10:02 (fourteen years ago)

I had, but forgot about it. I was under the impression that it's oretty obscure though? Maybe not.

The Reverend, Tuesday, 13 September 2011 10:53 (fourteen years ago)

oh yeah it's only on the deluxe version. I love it though, probably in my top 5 from the album, or even top 3.

dayo, Tuesday, 13 September 2011 11:01 (fourteen years ago)

Hell, I only discovered "Sade" last month.

Exile in lolville (Alfred, Lord Sotosyn), Wednesday, 25 January 2012 22:09 (fourteen years ago)

I am also semi-appalled at myself because I am enjoying a song with Drake on it

DO NOT CALL (The Brainwasher), Wednesday, 25 January 2012 22:44 (fourteen years ago)

at this point for me Love Love >> LTTP

both are classic though obviously

DO NOT CALL (The Brainwasher), Wednesday, 25 January 2012 22:45 (fourteen years ago)

ha such an in-character challop

the version of "i know" from dawn's mixtape was similarly revelatory for me but i do really love chris brown's verse on that :/

tebow gotti (k3vin k.), Wednesday, 25 January 2012 22:58 (fourteen years ago)

that's such a challop

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 25 January 2012 23:00 (fourteen years ago)

i didn't end up listening to love love that much... it's cool and sounds great, but the originals work better for a reason

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 25 January 2012 23:00 (fourteen years ago)

I may agree with DJP on that point

dayo, Wednesday, 25 January 2012 23:01 (fourteen years ago)

still love "Someone To Love Me" so much, if I were gonna rate these I'd put it just after "Ass On The Floor".

I'd also rate "Shades" & "Coming Home" super high, never got overexposed to the latter on radio & I traveled a lot to this album last year (to Paris no less) so coming home was on my mind a bunch.

Euler, Wednesday, 25 January 2012 23:05 (fourteen years ago)

it is also true that "Coming Home" has a completely different impact when heard at the end of this album instead of 8 million times in a row on the radio

I spend a lot of time thinking about apricots (DJP), Wednesday, 25 January 2012 23:06 (fourteen years ago)

totally

Euler, Wednesday, 25 January 2012 23:07 (fourteen years ago)

well at least i'm consistent with my challops i guess

I think I like Love Love vs. Hate Love even more than LTTP

every time I've said I love this record people wince often enough for me to check my armpit deodorant.

oh totally - it's actually quite affecting in a way that's lost in the vacuum of the radio

tebow gotti (k3vin k.), Wednesday, 25 January 2012 23:22 (fourteen years ago)

I meant agree w/ brainwasher - I listen to Love Love more than LTTP at this point.

I know 'rollercoaster' is on a basic level such a corny track, but I find it really affecting, diddy seems to be singing from a place of personal experience

dayo, Wednesday, 25 January 2012 23:22 (fourteen years ago)

we ignore the angels call
they were warnings after all

this album

uberweiss, Thursday, 26 January 2012 00:29 (fourteen years ago)

best album of the 21st century, for me

dayo, Thursday, 26 January 2012 00:31 (fourteen years ago)

It's top 5 for me. I've been pretty evangelical about it to acquaintances & have gotten a lot of skepticism, which is a drag; need better acquaintances I guess.

Euler, Thursday, 26 January 2012 00:33 (fourteen years ago)

yeah this is #2 for me behind the titus andronicus album... feels like they'll both be hard to top even tho we have 8 years left

J0rdan S., Thursday, 26 January 2012 00:36 (fourteen years ago)

i still think its 'ass on the floor' tbqh

sisqó inferno (Lamp), Thursday, 26 January 2012 00:38 (fourteen years ago)

uh, what are you guys doing without the DELUXE edition

dayo, Thursday, 26 January 2012 01:03 (fourteen years ago)

What? The Deluxe Edition is the best!

Somewhere between Fergie and Jesus (Alex in Montreal), Thursday, 26 January 2012 01:18 (fourteen years ago)

We aren't using it?

Somewhere between Fergie and Jesus (Alex in Montreal), Thursday, 26 January 2012 01:18 (fourteen years ago)

deluxe edition has 19 tracks iirc

dayo, Thursday, 26 January 2012 01:20 (fourteen years ago)

My deluxe ed has 18 and one is the intro.

Somewhere between Fergie and Jesus (Alex in Montreal), Thursday, 26 January 2012 01:22 (fourteen years ago)
