yeah i'm down for whatever nonsense you guys want to do. i'm in town for two weeks, free for most of it, though i'll be busy with my friend's wedding for a day or two (big gay wedding in golden gate park, mystical exchanging of rocks and sticks and vows and whatnot)

Yes, Maine lobsters are more expensive outside of Maine, crazy I know.

Spiny lobsters (no claws, just long antennae) are cheaper though.

I think my priorities are all screwed up, because I wouldn't look twice at a $25 half pounder, nor a $20 cocktail. . . . Some $20 cocktails are really good . . . like at Bemelman's Bar . . . and they are as strong and lasting as at least two or three regular cocktails. . . .

i am down for a FAP, but i know that most of you think i'm a scumfuck (perhaps rightly so), so whatever.

that said, $18-20 for a cocktail is super gross. but maybe that's just me right now— i regularly buy very expensive beer.

I saw a dead body lying in the panhandle today. A friend had seen him half on a park bench/half off around 10:45am. When I passed by around 11:55am, I saw the police and paramedics putting him into the yellow body bag and getting zipped up.

ya know what i miss about san francisco? walking around. it's a walking kinda city, you can walk from one end to the other in like an hour and a half. probably without getting mugged either. plus, it never gets too hot.

i always skipped the bands - looking at this thread it doesn't look like anythings changed w/regards to live acts in sf (somehow nothing ever really made me go DAMN! I MUST GO SEE THAT BAND TONIHGT!!!!11!!!!) i always just went to burning man sorta functions instead, the anon salon, santacon, anything off the laughingsquid mailing list. or raves in the redwoods or whatever. do they still throw raves in the redwoods near sf?
