Michael F Gill (Michael F Gill), Thursday, 2 December 2004 20:18 (twenty-one years ago)

Dean Gulberry likes the Modest Mouse. Supergrass, it would seem!

Lies. Dean Gulberry likes to leave his iTunes on random, even when he is not home.

It has yet to update though. It's missing around 300 songs.

I'm serious ... Ti-i-i-i-im (deangulberry), Thursday, 23 December 2004 22:11 (twenty-one years ago)

A lot of people's stats haven't been updating. I'm missing about 400 songs.

MindInRewind (Barry Bruner), Thursday, 23 December 2004 23:04 (twenty-one years ago)

I have come to accept this as a fact of life with Audioscrobbler.

jaymc (jaymc), Thursday, 23 December 2004 23:06 (twenty-one years ago)

Just imagine how cool it will be when they finally clear the backlog and hundreds of songs get added to your stats in one go -- DRASTICALLY CHANGING YOUR STATS LANDSCAPE FOREVER.

The ratings don't really reflect my general tastes as much as they show what I've been listening to recently. Not sure if that's a bad thing though

Mine is kinda lame because my girlfriend's girly music tastes get mixed up with mine and because I haven't gotten it to pull from my iPod yet.

n/a (Nick A.), Monday, 27 December 2004 22:17 (twenty-one years ago)

The ilXor group is now the 14th largest group on the audioscrobbler site. I have no idea what that means.

James Mitchell (James Mitchell), Monday, 3 January 2005 18:18 (twenty-one years ago)

Check out this guys profile. Someone should invite him to the group. I don't think he would like many of us though...

For those of you who, like me, have not had their most played songs and artists lists update for a month; they say the problem will be fixed by Monday. I'm not gonna point directly to my user profile until then because a month ago my wife was playing the same four songs over and over again till they dominated my charts, and I don't want you all to think I'm that much of a Chris Isaak fan.

I've updated the blurb on the ilXor Audioscrobbler group page.

I've included links to ILM/ILE and the search on there for handy use. They can be removed if this isn't cool, though.

Woo-hoo. Weekly track and artist charts now up and running for groups as well as individuals.

This week's highest new entry = 'Negotiate With Love'

Alba (Alba), Monday, 21 February 2005 21:42 (twenty-one years ago)

That is pretty sexy.

James Mitchell (James Mitchell), Monday, 21 February 2005 23:35 (twenty-one years ago)

They now work by showing the number of group members who've played each track/artist that week, which stops individual menkos skewing the charts too much, and works well for a group of the size of ILM. It's a bit rubbish for smaller groups though, and I think they're planning to bring back the old style charts as an alternative.

Annie still ruling the roost, but M.I.A. hot on her tail. Surprised more people not listening to the New Order album.

Alba (Alba), Monday, 28 February 2005 21:26 (twenty-one years ago)

First serious challenge to her #1 spot:

Weekly Artist Chart
Week prior to Mar 6, 2005, 12:00

1 Annie 30 group members listened
2 Vitalic 29
3 M.I.A. 28
4 Daft Punk 26
4 LCD Soundsystem 26
6 Bloc Party 25
7 Belle and Sebastian 21
8 Dizzee Rascal 20
8 Basement Jaxx 20
8 Kylie Minogue 20

Alba (Alba), Tuesday, 8 March 2005 17:51 (twenty-one years ago)

Belle & Sebastian's in the top 10? I feel dirty.

Johnny Fever (johnny fever), Tuesday, 8 March 2005 17:56 (twenty-one years ago)

At least we don't have the typical top 10:

RADIOHEAD
THE BEATLES
NIRVANA
...
