o so apparently this is the thread where a handful of aspie rubes unilaterally decided what polls are (beatles - exciting!) and aren't (madonna - a girl!) allowed on ilx and ASSUMED that the rest of ilx (the ones w/ jobs, lives, etc) would know/care/heed what the handful decided. what a fucking wasteland. bye ilx!

The Madonna poll is after the Prince one.

The idea of scheduling was so we're not all doing polls at the same time.

Also, that the person having put their name against an artist is sort of comitting themselves to the work involved.

I feel bad for balls. Seemed legitimately unaware of this thread as well as whether it was an actual authority over people being allowed to start a ballot poll. He didn't take Karen seriously off the bat and his thread gets locked pretty quick. Sucks if he truly was innocently trying to start the ballot for fun. Just giving the guy(?) a little sympathy is all. :)

He didn't seem legitimately unaware. Since the opening posts of the locked madonna poll thread it seemed pretty clear he didn't give a fuck and that he was only doing it to mock this sort of polls (?) Also he reposted the thread twice or thrice after it got locked but they got deleted by an admin.
