To be honest, I remember watching her at a gig in Brighton before Back in Black came out, and she wasn't acting that much different to those clips. Although she was at least singing all the tunes.

I have an unhappy knack of running into her every time i'm in Camden. The last time was about a fortnight ago and she was a wreck. The physical toll it has taken on her is pretty obvious. There's absolutely no way her managers wouldn't have known that something like this was going to happen.

Frank was so underrated. when I think back to 08, which was a very great year in my life, I think of that album a lot, as that was the year I discovered it (along with Back to Black).

I didn't know her music well, just "Rehab" and the Ghostface track, but I'd read some of the stories of her difficulties. Twenty-seven from my perspective is not even the starting line. Feel so bad that she didn't make it out of the woods.

just the enthusiasm she had for music. you could tell she lived and breathed it. Every detail on Back to Black showed she was a student of the 60's girl pop she was creating, but she and her team made it her own, brought it into the 21st century, without insulting or watering down the genre.
