All the people saying it's no "Dirty Talk" are kinda right, I can't imagine this controlling my life at 2am in a gay club really, but I want to like it.

i heard it the other day, i didn't think much of it either way. i resisted "dirty talk" hard b/c of its borderline cringe-inducing verses but the chorus proved irresistible.

jason aldean's "dirt road anthem" seems to have something of a chance of becoming a crossover pop hit -- on the heels of its recent cmt awards performance, the main version of the song AND a new remix featuring ludacris are both selling very strongly.

on a related note, how rare are country star + rapper collabs? only one i can think of off the top of my head is nelly and tim mcgraw

Simple Plan's first couple albums got a pretty big push from MTV, were moderately successful. amazing that they still exist!

Jet Lag has nothing on "I'd Do Anything" which was a total summer jam around 2003, but still.

Even more amazing that they manage to sing without sounded as Quebecois as they speak, imo.
