kind of a non-question xp - it's "better" to acknowledge how privilege informs your positions and avoid engaging in dialogues/narrative stances that use one's own privilege to marginalize/disenfranchise others, i.e., straight males telling lesbians that they've got some hard dick for them. I agree with that - when we talk about privilege, we're usually talking about white privilege. but hetero + male are heavy privilege, both of which extend further throughout history & culture than white privilege which is basically a brief, destructive historical moment whose window of existence is contracting & will shortly* be a "wtf happened there, that sucked" deal
