my little brother is 19 (ten years younger) and uses "gay" as a pejorative all the time. i also have a mate at work who will say things like "my email's gayed up" or "hmmm... something seems to have gone agay". it doesn't really bother me because i don't actually think they hate gay people, it's just a verbal tic they picked up at school or whatever.

oh, and i think "goblin" is awes. i admit it could be 15 mins shorter, though.

bought a copy of goblin today. when I walked into the local indie chain record store, two other guys were coming in with me, turns out they were looking for goblin too. the store was out of the deluxe version, had 3 copies left of the regular version. so I bailed and headed over to best buy. there was 1 copy left there.

regular version was on sale for $9.99 but i said fuggit i only buy two new CDs a year. this year is pj harvey and tyler. last year was waka and devin the dude. didn't really dig the devin album.

Bought the deluxe edition for $13.99 before tax at a local shop.

I never pay attention to this kind of shit, does anybody know the correlation between billboard and itunes charts? goblin's still floating around in the itunes top 10. between that, my anecdotal record shop visits, and the number of ilxors running out and buying, I'm guessing this thing is moving some units. enough to chart top 10?
