What both Odd Future and Lil B are doing, at heart, is trolling their elders in the hope of provoking reaction. So why does Lil B seem so much more exciting? yah, that's a good bit of writing.
the "never known a victimized woman so to them it's all comic book" made me think of s. clay wilson, whose work i read at the tender age of eight or nine when i would sneak out checkered demon comix from my dad's pile of undergrounds. that shit did me in and was TREMENDOUSLY confusing; lots of rape and murder in black and white with details that prepubescent me could barely process. It didn't leave any lasting scars though and I can't imagine that ofwg's shit will either once they get past the nihilist stage and start doing more fun adventurous stuff. the songs of theirs i like best is when they're fucking around and battling in grocery lines or just battle rapping
