Eisbär (llamasfur), Saturday, 22 November 2003 01:35 (twenty-two years ago)

one year passes...
2 years...

elwisty (elwisty), Sunday, 17 April 2005 00:29 (twenty-one years ago)

Waves of 1995 nostalgia wash over me.
Dogme 95? Lars von Trier? Dancer in the Dark? How Scandinavian of me!

Ian Riese-Moraine. To Hell with you and your gradual evolution! (Eastern Mantra), Sunday, 17 April 2005 00:35 (twenty-one years ago)

Geir is a goddamn genius.

Mr. Snrub (Mr. Snrub), Sunday, 17 April 2005 01:13 (twenty-one years ago)

It's a hongro, hongro world.

Daniel_Rf (Daniel_Rf), Sunday, 17 April 2005 10:14 (twenty-one years ago)

Classic. I disagree with most of what Geir says, but I will defend to the death his right to say it.

Failin Huxley (noodle vague), Sunday, 17 April 2005 12:58 (twenty-one years ago)

Well, maybe not to the death.

Failin Huxley (noodle vague), Sunday, 17 April 2005 12:58 (twenty-one years ago)

Classic! :)

Geir Hongro (GeirHong), Sunday, 17 April 2005 13:01 (twenty-one years ago)

I will defend to Geir's death his right to say what he says.

Masked Gazza, Sunday, 17 April 2005 14:26 (twenty-one years ago)

WAS Classic, because it's good to have a viewpoint which is so much at odds with whatever passes for a consensus round here. Fly in the ointment and all that. Also Classic for a) good taste in Italo-disco, b) "Talking To A Computer", c) never, EVER, resorting to rudeness to make his points.

NOW, sorry to say, veering towards Dud, because I keep reading the exact same points being made over and over again, in thread after thread after thread. Which wouldn't bug me, except that sometimes potentially new and interesting threads get sidetracked and shunted back into the same old arguments.

Sorry Geir, nothing personal.

mike t-diva (mike t-diva), Sunday, 17 April 2005 17:26 (twenty-one years ago)

Mike, people have been complaining to Geir about that for what, 10 years now?

The Ghost of deX! (Dan Perry), Sunday, 17 April 2005 17:36 (twenty-one years ago)

10 years?! So this discussion has been going on somewhere before ILM started off?

Tuomas (Tuomas), Sunday, 17 April 2005 19:44 (twenty-one years ago)

Tuomas: This thread was started about half a year before I made my first post on ILM :-)

Geir Hongro (GeirHong), Sunday, 17 April 2005 19:45 (twenty-one years ago)

A look back in time...

(with special appearances by NED RAGGETT, NATE PATRIN and DAN PERRY as "Lord of deXness")

(Matt Parisi used to post here, didn't he?)

The Ghost of Dan Perry (Dan Perry), Sunday, 17 April 2005 20:01 (twenty-one years ago)

I was trying to say "Classic" but he forces me to say "Dud"

Ken L (Ken L), Sunday, 17 April 2005 22:52 (twenty-one years ago)

sorry dan i just saw the name 'andy garcia' on an internet message board and laffed my arse off

Michael B, Sunday, 17 April 2005 23:03 (twenty-one years ago)

Geir Hongro paused from a brief respite of crack-smoking and listening =

to Yes to write:

Mr. Patrin, I salute you across a decade.

(Is this as good a time as any to say that I still feel like I'm in my late teens/early twenties in many ways? It's remarkably freeing!)
