"Better Off" is A+++ amazing.

"Piece of Me" is one of her weaker singles I think, and only really makes much sense in the context of Autobiography, but its song-writing is still great: "Make me happy it's your mission/And you won't stop till I'm there" - the guy loves her so much that he tolerates all her flaws AND enduringly keeps going till she gets her orgasm.

I really really really dislike the verse and the chorus of Pieces of Me. in fact, if we did a Worst poll, it'd get my vote.

Mambo No. 5 and Thong Song are from around the same time period but I remember liking Mambo a bit more.

never been much into "pieces of me", but yeah "better off", "love me for me" and "la la" are all great and funny. also "nothing new". anyway probably thong song.
