I just realised it sometimes melts into an ambient breakdown consisting of the theme from Jurassic Park.

They're now pretty much the same track in my head, its like Double Dee and Steinski in here.

I used to get these a lot when they would play those commercials for "Hits of the 80s!!" comps, e.g:

I keep getting the verse lyrics from Common People mashed up with and sung along to the verses from Summer of '69 in my head.

Earlier today I had a combination of The Eagles' Hotel California and Christopher Cross's Arthur's theme with bits of Any Dream Will Do from Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat going through my head. It was horrendous.

What are the odds? My most frequent earworm mashup is "Paint It Black" mixed with the chorus from "Go Go Go Joseph."

It must be an Andrew Lloyd Webber thing...

And whenever I think of Bela Fleck's "Flight of the Cosmic Hippo" it inevitably leads into the second eight from "Stolen Moments."

Ha, I remember telling friends in hs that I experienced this (Slint - "Good Morning Captain" + The Cure - "Pictures of You" iirc) and no one could relate at all.

I've had a terrible one that pops into my head every morning when I turn on the light in the bathroom to get ready to take a shower. It starts out with (and I have no idea why I still remember this song) the chorus of Trace Adkins' "Every Light in the House", but it morphs into "Drops of Jupiter" somewhere along the way. It's awful.
