nardwuar's band is v. awesome too- always lots of fun to see them live, just crazy energy, everyone knows all the lyrics, and you get to see nardwuar's chest hair. i was talking to bev davies who put together nardwuar's 2007 punk rock calendar, and apparently the high-pitched nardwuar-voice is really just a part of the character- normally he's a little more relaxed. it's only when he's incredibly excited that the nardwuar-voice comes back.
