it's definitely her twitter, she's deleted previous tweets she made where she criticised Justin Beiber for using autotune and called someone a cunt.
― prolego, Monday, 14 March 2011 19:44 (fifteen years ago)
I would pay good money to see Andrew WK cover "Friday"... or is that too meta?

44. Drama! That girl gets ditched for green screeen moon riding party scene, replaced with less-bored looking girl who appears to enjoy friday

I think ILX could write a 'Friday' song that would out-mundane Friday even.
― VegemiteGrrl, Monday, 14 March 2011 20:56 (fifteen years ago)
I know a whole bunch of professional singers and I don't think a single one of them could get through the bridge without wetting themselves

I still hold out hope that the rapper is saying "I BE REBECCA BLACK" because that would make just about as much sense as anything else in this song
― ancient, but very sexy (DJP), Monday, 14 March 2011 21:26 (fifteen years ago)

Discovered the video at 4 am with a bunch of my fellow students pulling an all-nighter in the library. Weekend-long ILX/internet break meant that our first exposure to it was on no sleep and very little sanity. Laughed so hard I cried. My brain is still singing it.
The rapper swaying along to the beat in the car at the end is an undersung moment.
