Lots of bands have had #1 albums without getting played on top 40 stations.. or on the radio at all. They may not be a huge singles group, but their albums will sell.

my expectation for these guys is that they are game changers
don't know if anyone would've expected wayne or pharrell to be game changers either but

the album's gonna chart (obviously), but i could believe tyler's first week numbers to be outside the top 150 or inside the top 10

maybe collectively, maybe by influence, maybe a few breakout solo hits
but basically all their music and ephemera has some value and there's enough if you scrape it together to make two great albums
and they're teenagers and just figuring it out, so figure sky's the limit

bad examples since both of those guys were lurking around the industry being a part of big unit-shifting hit records for years before people really recognized their talent or credited them with any kind of paradigm shift

pharrell's not a RAP STAR but he's definitely been a hugely influential and impactful figure

I was thinking more like Pantera, or I guess NWA.. Their fanbase goes nuts over them, although they really had no chance to score huge hits. (NWA obviously did after they split up.)
