Jools Timms (22) is the frontman for Bicester based ska-folk revivalists The Lorimers, named after former Leeds great Peter Lorimer. Says Jools of his trademark tyrolean hat, "it's part of who I am, it's about saying I'm street but I know my roots". Tours with The Cornhuskers and an upcoming support slot with Mumford & Sons bode well for 2011, and a debut album is in the works. "Bicester is a weird place, it's urban but it's rural, it's about taking the spirits from the trees and the rhythms from the human world around us." Citing influences as diverse as The Police, The Incredible String Band, Enter Shikari and Catcher in the Rye, there's no doubt he's done his reading, and it will take a brave soul to doubt these fearless troubadours in the year ahead.

ChannelBee was an internet television channel which launched on 5 July 2008. As from 20/11/09 Channelbee has ceased operating.
