New album is great — even richer and fuller than the last one i think. A couple songs, including a disco track, are the poppiest stuff they've ever done

it's funny how arbitrary the new-thread-for-new-album process is - both of the new amerykah albums have been anticipated and adored on an old general badu thread dating back to 03, i believe, w/no problems!

Yeah, as an ilx user since when it was just ILM, I can't see why anyone would have a problem with a thread for an anticipated album.

Only just caught on to this band though, so great stuff on the last album especially Vacuum, but then I've always been an MBV stan.
