fwiw re: the earl situation, i read a forum about hardcore music that julian berman, a dude who takes a lot of OF's pictures and shit, posts on and he said that none of them actually know where earl is or when he will be back, they just know that his mom sent him somewhere because he kept getting into trouble

kinda bittersweet imagining earl wherever he is watching fallon last night

just hope the dude is writing the greatest rap album ever while he's in exile

sorry to derail but I just watched the Jimmy Fallon vid and here're two thoughts:

1) these guys are witch-house as fuck (ie ban me plz)
2) I was wrong and Whiney was right: Earl is the shit but I def. think Tyler has the potential for a nagl middle age peddling bitter tirades a la Marshall Mathers...

Earl getting sent away sucks bcz Earl rules, but at the same time, that's the kind of thing that builds a legendary buzz, one that doesn't wear off for decades...I don't think the whole 'Earl is missing' thing is a hyper-elaborate stunt perpetrated by OF but if it had been then they'd be even bigger geniuses then everyone has given them credit for

every magazine dude who didnt give a fuck about them a week ago. 40 year old men. also the security was like they pulled them off a prison block. two guards threatened me. i was totally fucked up though. kids in the front seemed like they had a great time but i coudlnt get past the bearded flock

also 6 or 7 cameramen on stage makes a show feel a bit contrived. the whole thing felt like a media opp

I had a great time with them on Tuesday if that means anything

i showed up really late so it's partly my fault for having a shittier time
