I was wondering if you sang the melody line in the same key as the piano part, or if you recorded it while the piano part was playing in a different key and then re-recorded the piano part?

because it is very, very difficult to sing and stay on pitch when singing to music that's in a different key so I am just curious

but the current versions of 'emu' and 'it's sun' are my favorites because the keyboard parts set up expectations for the melody to do certain things, and then you do something completely different, and I love the tension, it's very unusual and different. Even if one is a virtuoso at one instrument, they should attempt to play others. Mozart plays several instruments. Most very talented musicians play more then one.
