I think I voted for "Looking for Love," actually. It's the best Usher song in ages.

"Yeah Yeah You Would" (featuring Grace Jones)

Does Grace Jones really feature in this song? I only hear her for a few seconds 2 minutes in.

Moka, Thursday, 24 February 2011 15:35 (fifteen years ago)

And just realized 'ass on the floor' samples 'pon de floor'. I just thought it was a similar sort of marching snare. They both go very different places with it. Love them both.

Moka, Thursday, 24 February 2011 15:38 (fifteen years ago)

'private entertainer' is really graet - love the interplay between the electric buzzsaw and ross's voice in the opening verse

^^^^

i really like the "i hate that you love me" video - simple, but the way their bodies move just so to the beat, can't take my eyes off it

i still haven't stopped going O_O at "Yeah Yeah You Would"

some dude, Friday, 11 March 2011 12:44 (fifteen years ago)

I kinda have, mostly cause its a danja production - idk why but most of his songs sound too 'clean' to me, could use a little more scuzz or something

dayo, Friday, 11 March 2011 12:50 (fifteen years ago)

still looks like nobody has told diddy he can't dance yet

weird, he was dancing before he did anything else iirc

"Your Love" may not be flattered much in the context of LTTP but on the radio it really stands out and sounds bold, even just compared to all the other Trey Songz songz getting airplay.

diddy's obsession with sade is amaaaaazing.

One of the moments I remember feeling happiest last year was lying on a banana lounge at some "beach bar" in Nice (and paying through the nose for the privilege, as you do), getting drunk on beer in the afternoon, Sade's Best Of playing on loop over the stereo. I like to think Diddy had a similar experience that inspired some of this.

Tim F, Monday, 9 May 2011 18:12 (fifteen years ago)

this fucking album

tpp, Monday, 9 May 2011 21:49 (fifteen years ago)

diddy's obsession with sade is amaaaaazing.

i like sade too, so do lots of people, she had one of the best-selling albums of 2010 for fuck's sake! don't get why diddy's obsession is amazing? it just kinda puts him in the company of millions of sade fans. unless we're talking in comparison to other hip-hop artists in 2010-11, in which case he's clearly quite vocal about his love.
