So yeah, a couple of years ago it felt like a load of rap fans were overcompensating for pop-rap by throwing their weight behind these really limited MCs like M.O.P. and whoever, who nevertheless had impeccable hardcore credentials. That's exactly what the Hard In Da Paint bandwagon reminds me of, it just sounds lumbering and clumsy to me.

it's kind of crazy to me how condescending people can be about these choices when the number of votes for each song is right there in the post. like you realize you're basically directly being a dick to large numbers of people who are actively following this thread, right?
