I like it. Very affecting. This song reminds me way more of 'Teardrop' than the Kelis one...

Voted "Windstorm" instead, but I'm happy to see this so high. On the whole I haven't really been able to get into Disconnect from Desire, despite loving the previous album.

"ILU" is simply outstanding. Right down to its T'Pau drums.

best tune on SVIIB aside from "ILU" is "Bye Bye Bye"-- v. underrated, absolutely astounding & a fukkin monster played live

my problem with Disconnect From Desire is that IMO it's completely and utterly frontloaded, to the extent to which had it been a four-track EP it'd have been the best EP of the year

do need to give some of the later tracks another listen tho

don't really care for SOT7B. this song reminds me of that crystal castles tune i didn't much like earlier, though it's miles better, obv. i realize that there's a huge ILM support contingent for this kind of soft focus "dream pop," and i'm not putting it down, just noting that it frequently leaves me cold. there's beauty here, but it's too refined, not of the sort that works its way under my skin. puppet goresex was kind of cool.

underrated 2010 SVIIB track is "Camarilla" imo.

love the MBV ending and must admit I'd be interested in listening to the whole So7B album...

I kind of agree - I fell a lot harder for Alpinisms because it had a hazy enigmatic quality that embraced the listener completely, whereas DfD is cleaner and I'd go with "too refined" to trigger the same immersive listening experience.

Couldn't choose btw 'rill rill' and 'tell 'em' so voted for both. Album is in my top 5 of the year even if it is painful to listen to on headphones.

Hmm...the one time I tried listening to the Sleigh Bells albums, it just made me feel old (I'm not that old). Will try again.

"Infinity Guitars" is my go-to Sleigh Bells track, but I like this one just fine.
