Oh yeah, didn't save my tracks ballot but pretty sure I voted 'pass out'. Hope I was one of the 12 voters for Hold Yuh as well. One of my favorite songs this year too.

I just noticed due to them being ranked together that both 'runaway' and 'pass out' choruses have the common theme of bringing the glasses out and toasting.

The fact that there are two Kanye records that are now going to place higher than Pass Out makes me sad.

"soldier of love" is the most beautiful thing. i voted for the track in 09 tho (we don't do any sort of carry-over of points, do we?) and the album this year. the eternal magnificence of sade is serious fuiud territory for me.

I think this time last year we already knew the Sade album was coming, so if you'd told me this time TWO years ago that a Sade single would place #23 in the 2010 poll, I'd have thought you mad. I'm happy about it, though!

"Soldier of Love" I love. Couldn't really get into the album tho.

I didn't vote for "Power", but I can't really deny any song with such prominent King Crimson samples.

Musically I love "S.O.L" but I don't really like Sade's voice.

"Soldier of Love" is great, don't know why I haven't heard this yet since I love Sade. I'm a lazy slob...

At first I had to check if it was really Sade, her voice was so low.

Beat reminds me of something off of the first Portishead album. Go figure, they owe their career to Sade.

I think the run of Kanye's singles this year where far more succesful and interesting than the album itself (which I sort of ended up hating) I definitely endorse the ones that have made it so far. Runaway single version is miles better than the album one.
