Mogwai have always been much more cookie-cutter quiet/loud/quiet than Swans ever were (and about 1000% less interesting)

church bells always good, too - one of my favourite hip-hop trax atm has church bells for a beat

No Words/No Thoughts was a great choice for opening track on the album

Not feeling that Javiera Mena track, for much the same reason I don't like Sally Shapiro past her (admittedly amazing) first single.

This list is reassuringly all over the place and batshit so far. Lex getting to Swans probably the weirdest part so far.

Okay Strawberry Skies is the first track I've never even heard of.

Strawberry Skies and the Games EP is fucking excellent but everything on it needs to be twice as long imo esp. SS

This is Oneohtrix dude, yep. I voted for this - didn't care about the album all that much, but thought this was a really good single track.

yeah i'd never heard of games either - i didn't mind the oneohtrix album but didn't like enough to think about it or play it again

Okay, I'm liking this Games thing. Seems tailor-made for my tastes of late.

Don't like Games as much as I expected - it goes to far over the line into pastiche for me.

i don't consider Games chillwave - half dreampop half turbo charged Shannon instrumentals

I think I voted for his CFCF remix - Strawberry Skies almost makes me want to believe in chillwave

I should hate this Games song but I don't. Combines all sorts of elements I've never liked but the resulting mixture is actually decent. Hugely surprised.

oh "strawberry skies" has laurel halo on it - i have some of her solo stuff, it's aight. as is this, feeling it - way different to his stuff as oneohtrix! i love that bassline tethering it down and stopping it becoming to insubstantial, as is the wont of dreampop sometimes
