i actually hadn't thought swizz had fallen off, but looking at his discography he really hasn't done much i'm into since like 07 - "ass on the floor", "roman's revenge", mariah's "o.o.c.", that's about it.

good song. don't love it, but a fine way to kick things off. like the beat a lot more than the vocal hook. ass-floory, but maybe not ass-floory enough?

yeahhhh. i think that's been overrated just cuz of the "lol c&c music factory sample" BUT it's still a fantastic song to hear at house parties at 6am, exactly what you need at times like that

i only like one of these songs, and even then, i forgot it even existed (swing ya rag).

vw is nice but follows my 'everyone vampire weekend has ever done sounds kinda sweet when listening, and then i'll forget it ever exists straight after'

vw song is boring (for them), but now I think Rostam might be awesome

I love the barefaced cheek of putting out a remix in 2010 that features both Coldcut/Eric B & Rakim drums AND the riff from Everybody Dance Now for good measure. Never heard it in a club but the first time it was played in one people must have lost their shit.

The original is still better though.

Oh, now that I got to the C&C Music Factory part that everyone was grokking on, I realize I've totally heard this

I didn't care for VW debut or that Horchata song but Giving Up the Gun is surprisingly good. Hmm. Might have been an error to not listen to Contra.

Diddy song the best so far. I have never been able to say that in any context before.

Azari & III original > remix by huge margin.
