funny thing is, first time i listened to this i had the whole commentary in my head of sonic youth & punk basically reverting back to the principles they were so against... mainly, pointless noodling. which was basically my first reaction to hearing this song - but more you listen to it, you start realizing it actually has intent and likely isn't played any much differently at shows. still, it is a tad ironic that this really is the stand-out track on Murray St (far as I go).

Just realised I've been listening to Simple Headphone Mind by Stereolab and Nurse With Wound for about two hours now and it still sounds amazing.
