Shields did just come out of re-mastering Screamadelica. I'm sure somebody out there took notice and plopped Loveless down right next to him whilst at the control panel, with a hint-hint-nudge-nude "hey, while you're at it".

I spoke to Kev and he says that he's got one of those card meters installed for the gas and 'leccy these days so that's one less thing to worry about. The royalties on the existing back catalogue mainly go on the hay and kibble for the chinchillas apparently.

did the earlier promos of loveless include both remaster and 'mastered from 1/2 inch analog tapes' version? i can't remember. that's what's been sent out now.

desperate for new headphones as i listened the leaked FLACS (plural capitalized?) via my koss portapros and.... frankly couldn't tell the difference

If you can't tell on portapros, you wont be able to tell on <£100 headphones.

and if you need better headphones fto tell the difference, then you are into serious snake oil territory.

The leaked loveless flacs were a fake as far as I know, they were removed from waht who are good at moderating these things, but the very good sounding Isn't Anything remasters are still there.

i remember someone saying the leaked remasters were EQ'ed vinyl rips.
could be wrong though.

I've got a £50 bet with my gf that the remasters won't come out this year.

Well they haven't changed it yet, but I'd only be interested in a vinyl rip anyway, and that's not on the cards at the moment.

There's a bit of a Loveless bubble going on at the moment. Sold my slightly worn original vinyl version a couple of years ago for £20, anticipating the remaster, but now they seem to go for £60+ on Discogs. I even managed to get a tenner for my pretty scratched Creation-era repress CD last year as well. Bizarre.
