Best Song on Diddy - Dirty Money's "Last Train to Paris"

it's just "last night pt 2" and "change" but they're both excellent songs (i know i'm in the minority on "change") and work really well with the flow of the album, the latter especially

everytime I see "Last Night Part 2" i keep thinking Diddy made a sequel to the Az Yet song

if you d/l the extras you should change the track order too

there are 2 tracks added to the main sequence, plus 2 more bonus tracks ("First Place Loser" and "Love Come Down")

btw what do you guys think the worst track is? for me it's either "Looking For Love" or "Strobe Lights"

i've been trying to bait people into having this discussion for a min now actually

for me it's any of the 3 songs with wayne or drake, though "strobe lights" is redeemed by its final minute, which i love. "your love" does nothing for me, either

i always think i'm not into "Your Love" when it starts and by the end i'm like holy shit this is amazing

imo "Loving You No More" is so good that not even Drake can ruin it

"your love" improves as it goes on and is not awful strictly speaking but i really hate that beat, got to be the weakest on the album

"your love" is really strong imo, i love the tension of the beat - reminds me of omarion's "i get it in" and the dirty money girls slay on it.

worst track is "yesterday" fairly easily. i have the standard edition track listing and the bonus trax as free-floating mp3s and am happy with that, the album isn't actually out in the UK yet.

it's missing about half the bass from "i get it in"

the opening & underlying plink-plunk percussion just puts me off, such a out-of-place played sound on an album like this

reminds me of "turnin me on" more than anything and i never really liked that song all that much so

i love "turnin' me on"!!!!!!!

coming home reminds me of empire state of mind only worse. yea yesterday is also p bad

"coming home" is kinda saccharine like that johnny, yeah, but diddy's rapps are ok, even dare i say touching, so it gets pass from me

"strobe lights," yes -- i love lil the vocoder part at the end of "your love" -- kinda wishing they had integrated that more into the song

i'm not a huge fan of "love come down"

well that's a bonus track on the deluxe version that's not even an option in this poll.

original "Angels" single version would easily be my least favorite song out of this project, but the synths on the remix redeem it somewhat.

i love "love come down" and am actually disappointed it's not on the main album - hate the recent trend for artists/labels to disown underperforming lead singles

^^^ Was just thinking that yesterday. It really encapsulates that air of lack of self-confidence about pop music these days, like, "oh we thought this was good but if the public doesn't take to it we're gonna assume the crappy track we'd red-marked "album at best, outtake possibly" is better".

i mean ultimately it's also the fault of all the appalling people without taste who actually made "your love" a success instead

"Massive Attack" was the example I was thinking of actually, w/r/t a bounty post on Nicki (though not on "Massive Attack" itself). Especially given it was such a "statement" first single, and then it's not like they're entirely pretending that side of her doesn't exist.

given the amount of bonus trax you'd think they could've at least have dumped it on pink friday at the end

there was also ciara's "go girl" in the fantasy ride era, which underwhelmed me as a single but finally grew on me at around the time i learned it was being purged from history, stalin style

which version is this? the amazon deluxe one I got didn't have either of these tracks. looking now, the itunes deluxe has first place loser but not love come down.

the intertwining melodies on the chorus, the call and response, the layered vocals, if the diverging melodies on 'ass on the floor' was a heroin this is a fucking speedball
