the thing w/ the intense repetition of the chorus is that gucci has proven to be good enough that i think you know it's an aesthetic choice & not laziness, if that makes sense -- i can see why that wouldn't make it less boring for some ppl but it heightened anticipation for me

those sorts of unconventional playing w/ expectations moves are stuff gucci does on tracks all the time (& is one of the reasons "im a star" was one of my favorite gucci tracks)
