in my experience, the guys who order the fruitiest drinks in bars in atlanta tend to be the ones who get most amped up (besides me) when a great rap anthem comes on the jukebox

this is probably as good a thread as any for this -- this week j0rdan had to school me on the meaning of Nicki's "Bottoms Up" verse -- i thought it was "I don't say 'hi' I say 'keys' to the Benz" as if the normal thing to do would be to just say hi to her car! but according to j0rdan she's demanding the keys to the Benz from her guy, which I guess never occurred to me because i never understood/paid attention to the line before that ("I'm with a bad bitch, he's with his friends"). i like my version better.

see picturing Nicki talking to her car was probably my favorite way of thinking about her this year, very disappointing.

altho you could say that if she could communicate w/ her car she wouldn't even need keys

i thought was like how rappers brag about having push button ignitions instead of keys now -- like she has a voice recognition ignition but as some weird joke she makes it respond to her saying "keys" instead of turning a key. this is pretty silly to say out loud now though!
