DC tonight!

yes! i'm psyched all over again... he's in the country and everything this time, right?

got a facebook msg last week that SF show is cancelled

he is in the country. new york show was fun.

It is just him and a laptop but on the other hand you get to see him play all his stuff on a (hopefully) decent soundsystem in a club environment.

Basically this but with some on-the-fly tweaking, teasing out certain bits of "Coma Cat" to delay the drop of a familiar part, stuff like that. I had fun.

aloe blacc remix is great, but doesn't get going until 2 1/2 or 3 minutes in. But from then on, it's gorgeous

I like that remix, brings out the 90s pop vibe that the original was aiming for and failed to hit. Tensnake version > Benoit & Sergio version, but Tensnake > Benoit & Sergio pretty much across the board.
