theyre not u goof -- theyre populist overhated styles that we reclaim, not critically feted indie rap named after populist overhated styles weve already repped for

i always hated "lcd rap" but only because it was so hypocritical coming from bol, who is nothing if not a lowest common denominator blogger but acts like he has such high-minded standards about rap

personally i don't think it matters what any one person thinks of any given trend, a lineage of thread name inspirations that went Plies > OJ > Gudda Gudda would make total sense, but hey, you guys have 2 months to come up with something better than "grocery hashtag," go for it

as someone who doesn't particularly like any of his 3 singles i didn't really make it a priority to hear the Waka album, but i guess i should at least listen to it if any of you guys wanna hook me up
