he had so much more stuff in in '08 and '09. idk i argued this in my review of the album but i feel like hes been hidden from us

hidden in what sense? how much of 2010 has he been a free man compared to '09 and '08 anyway?

i want him to do an album that balances the technically denser recent style with the super lyrical '08-09 stuff AND the hilarious fun early gucci.

i'm not saying it will happen or even looks likely but i can hope!

he was missing for months of '09 too but that didnt happen

^^^^love this song so much. lowballed it on my list really ... its like the apex of those drumma boi tracks, the musicality, the lyricism, perfection

yeah it really might be the best thing they've ever done -- the atmosphere of the song is perfect, it's sort of a reclassification of horror pianos as a backdrop for the overwhelming intimidation of swag instead of threats of violence -- there's also a stillness to the verses that i think is perfect, before he goes nuts in the chorus (maybe one of his most complicated hooks ever -- i can barely make out half the words & can't even sing back the parts i do know)

sux that the song was buried in the album that no one cared about

it did get a video! & its a really good vid too -- the parts where his head moving back & forth slowly are meshed with the scenes from the party are really cool & reflect the music well

also i love the part where he takes a minute & relaxes, the "i just showed my ass last night, i had a blast"
