in December 2009 when i was doing my year-end lists, "Wasted" was the single I'd been listening to all year and had had in my top 10 for a while, "Lemonade" was my favorite song on an album that had just dropped that month and it wasn't clear whether it was going to be a radio single or just a song that happened to have a video on YouTube and get talked about as an album standout.

want 2 argue w/deej but don't know anything about gucci mane :(

yeah i'm not saying it doesn't 'qualify' where like i would've said pshhhh album track you lame to someone who had it on an '09 list, i just personally prioritize things differently.

we're not talking about a sitch like "Throw Some D's" where that song was EVERYWHERE by the end of '06 but for some reason some lames thought of it as an '07 song

gross kinda stands apart from the other word songs but i've come to love it. whereas weirdo seems like a really second rate one of those to me.

revisit 'whats it gonna be' again for real.

yeah 'whats it gonna be' is def my fav on appeal. i massively enjoyed zone 6 + jewellery selection more than most stuff this year so i'm not getting on board with any of this peaking stuff.

he had so much more stuff in in '08 and '09. idk i argued this in my review of the album but i feel like hes been hidden from us

i want him to do an album that balances the technically denser recent style with the super lyrical '08-09 stuff AND the hilarious fun early gucci.

i'm not saying it will happen or even looks likely but i can hope!

he was missing for months of '09 too but that didnt happen
