i don't understand these 2 posts, can you at least phrase your lame zings in a way that isn't totally confusing? i was just saying the knock against Wale's image is that he's a typical 'skinny jeans' hipster rapper, where Wiz has a cooler or harder to mock image of just being a laid back weed smoker with tattoos.

musically, hes just more charismatic, which is the biggest difference imo. & makes up for wiz's biggest difficulties is that a bunch of his songs are really boring/bad/have lame beats & he doesnt have say currensy's lyrical depth to justify 1000 songs about how hes sleeping with & smoking up your girlfriend

but thats what makes a handful of his songs worthwhile ... as long as yr not bumping wiz long players its all good

I guess I'm questioning the "charismatic" thing -- I don't hear it, he sounds as blank and devoid of swag as Wale to me, they both just kinda talk their shit without saying anything funny or memorable imo.

my point was exactly that they have a lot in common as vocalists but people don't seem to notice it because their look/image is so different.

i dont think there look & image is very different at all which i guess is where the confusion is here. are you really arguing that their image is the reason one is cool & one isnt? i mean wiz wears skinny jeans too. i dont think ppl are sleeping on wale because he got reviewed by pfork & doesnt smoke enough weed or something -- its bcuz he doesnt present a consistent persona
