wiz definitely isn't the more seasoned rapper -- i could see how people could like him more, but he can come off as too much of a goofball at times

I think Curren$y's easily the better rapper between him and Wiz, but Wiz's personality is a little more outward while Curren$y's is more insular. Wiz also has a knack for catchy hooks, more so than Curren$y, I think. But they work well together. Just enough overlap in their styles but enough divergence between the two.

i mean the thing is i just don't hear him going for the same stuff on this record. all these beats are so languid and jazz fusiony, he doesn't really give himself a chance to go hard here, maybe for the sake of album flow. there aren't really any bangers!

I think he sorta lets loose on tracks like "Address" (great track: "MAKING HOT WHEELS OUT OF HOOPTIES!"). And I think he goes in just as hard lyrically, it's just that the flows aren't as speedy. But the beats aren't built for those kind of flows.

don't really understand how this guy got so huge, how did ppl become fans of him? like "where da cash at" was cool and if he was still on young money he might be their best rapper, but i've yet to hear any recent solo stuff that's exciting on any level.

hes also been rapping coast to coast w/ pretty much anybody from j stalin to french montana, doing the regional guest verse thing

maybe 20% of all rappers talk a ton about smoking weed, though, and him and wiz aren't exactly red & meth in terms of approaching it w/ humor or personality

there really arent that many rappers who talk about it this exclusively! kinda tiring of the Some Dude 'why is this rapper suddenly so popular??' thing -- made more sense when u were talking about big krit, less so a rapper who has been releasing mixtapes and building steady buzz for the last four years while guesting on lots of ppl's songs
