I voted for all 3 Corrupted, i'm chuffed they placed so high.

After the poll is over, Glenn will open up needle to the public, so you can see who voted for each album and even how many points they gave it, never fear, we are happy to open it up for all.

Hey, it was right there in the original thread total, but I guess what sets this sort of countdown apart from the usual canon shit is all this doom metal and Boris. For better or for worse.

Doom has done well, even the arty kind like the above album, but there's been shitloads of black metal,death metal, thrash metal and good old heavy metal did best of all!

Really hope that Boris - Pink pushes its way into the top 10-15 albums. I'd expect to see it sooner than later, but what a fucking great surprise it would be for that album to ravage the top ten.

I think if they are lower down, i don't care if something that's loosely metal gets in, i welcome it, but I can see why people don't like that kind of thing higher up. Hence me not voting funkadelic in the poll. Despite them being my fave band.

There are definitely a few albums I like that have shown up in this poll (of 300 results, ffs!), but I'm still sour that '80s pop metal is not only not represented but pissed all over and called false. Aggro metal bands are every bit as funny as hair metal bands, except there's a serious lack of self-awareness there.

Hanoi Rocks, as influential as they were, still are kind of sucky. People who stan for Hanoi Rocks do it because they read somewhere they were supposed to...not because they actually like them.
